1. Public Park - The public park, designed in the second half of the 19th century, offers many walking paths between chestnut avenues, many recreational paths for hiking and cycling, tennis courts, a skating and hockey hall and a cozy café with a children's playground.
2. City Beach - From late May to mid-September, the south side of the medieval city walls turns into a shady, relaxed city beach. The offer from the bar perfectly matches the usual cultural events that take place there.
3. City Market - A beautifully finished architectural ensemble that is a popular gathering place for locals who pamper their eyes with a wide selection of juicy fruits, vegetables, meat and fish. Recently, it also hosts many events such as Open Kitchen, Beer and Burger Fest… and is becoming the culinary center of the city. Don’t forget to try the delicious pumpkins!
4. Celje Fair Exhibition Space - Celje is known in Slovenia and the wider region primarily as a fair city, as it has always been famous for its various fairs, which attract many domestic and foreign exhibitors and visitors. Thematic fairs take place all year round, and the peak of the season is the International Craft Fair in September, which has been held continuously since 1967, and a new acquisition - the only erotic fair in Slovenia in December.
5. Špica - A popular gathering place on the promenade at the confluence of the Ložnica and Savinja streams is also the seat of the local kayak and canoe rowing club. The once ugly wooden shed has recently been replaced by a modern facility that meets the needs of rowers and thirsty passers-by, and the newly arranged wild water slalom course offers many opportunities for learning on the water.
6. Tehnopark Celje - In 2020, the renovated historic building opened its doors as the first park to promote science, technology and innovation in Slovenia. The lower two floors offer virtual world experiences, illusions and science, while the upper floor has space for co-working and a platform for kitchen workshops.
7. Tropical house - An oasis of nature in the heart of the city, where 6 ecosystems with many animal and plant species are presented.
8. TIC Celje - Tourist Information Center Celje in an award-winning building, where the remains of Roman history are visible at every turn.
