European programs

ERASMUS + is the EU's programme to support education, training, youth and sport in Europe. Erasmus+ offers mobility and cooperation opportunities in: higher education, vocational education and training, school education (including early childhood education and care), adult education, youth and sport. Detailed information on these opportunities, including eligibility criteria, is available in the Erasmus+ Programme Guide. More here.

EUROPEAN SOLIDARITY CORPS
The European Solidarity Corps funding is provided in the form of grants to organisations through call for proposals. Young people wishing to engage in such activities need to register in the European Solidarity Corps portal. The European Solidarity Corps portal offers a place for those young people and organisations, holding a grant, to implement activities and to find each other. More here.

CREATIVE EUROPE PROGRAM. On 19 November 2013, the European Parliament approved the European Union's new Creative Europe Program (2014-2020), which will provide support for European culture, film, television, music, literature, the performing arts, cultural heritage and other related fields. HORIZON 2020 is the new EU Framework Program for Research and Innovation, which will be active in the period 2014-2020. It replaces the 7th Framework Program (FP7), which expired at the end of 2013. At the same time, the most important financial instrument is the implementation of the Innovation Union strategy, and the Europe 2020 Strategy, with the aim of raising the competitiveness of the European Union in the period up to 2020. The program started on 1 January 2014 and will run until 31 December 2020. The programme's funding will be for research and innovation, with the aim of creating economic growth and creating new jobs in Europe. The total value of the financial resources that will be allocated to these activities is over EUR 80 billion. More here.

COSME PROGRAM. The EU programme for the Competitiveness of Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises (SMEs). The programme has been delegeted to the European Innovation Council and SMEs Executive Agency. The SME pillar of the Single Market Programme will first ensure the continuity of the implementation of the most impactful actions of the COSME programme, in particular supporting a better access to markets, a more favourable business environment and promoting entrepreneurship. It aims to foster the competitiveness, capacity building and sustainability of enterprises, especially SMEs, including the tourism sector. ERASMUS FOR YOUNG ENTREPRENEURS
Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs is a cross-border exchange programme which gives new or aspiring entrepreneurs the chance to learn from experienced entrepreneurs running small businesses in other Participating Countries. The exchange of experience takes place during a stay with the experienced entrepreneur, which helps the new entrepreneur acquire the skills needed to run a small firm. The host benefits from fresh perspectives on his/her business and gets the opportunities to cooperate with foreign partners or learn about new markets. More here.
